A digital innovation and design consultancy was working with a large European motor manufacturer to develop the concept for a new product to help owners of battery electric vehicles (BEVs) to recharge their cars more easily at public charging stations.
The product was suitable for owners of all types of BEVs but was particularly aimed at customers who had purchased their car using manufacturer financing.
In the space of around 2 weeks, we recruited 25 owners and prospective owners of BEVs in France, Italy and Spain, of which half already owned a BEV made by the end client which they had purchased with manufacturer financing.
The respondents took part in a series of online focus groups and IDIs to discuss charging pain points and the new product concept.

I contacted FieldworkHub with a last-minute research request. I thought it would be tricky to pull off, but Philip and the team made it so easy. It was a pleasure to work with people who were clearly experts at what they do. Not only did they turn the whole project around super quickly, but they were responsive, helpful and gave very thoughtful suggestions when I asked for advice. The process was smooth and easy from the start.
