Sentence completion test
A type of semi-structured Projective technique in market research where respondents are shown the first part of a sentence (called a stem) and asked to complete it. The stem is typically quite short and open to completion in different ways, for example, “Shopping in a supermarket is…”. The results of sentence completion tests are generally easier to intepret than Word association tests because the responses tend to be more detailed, but as a technique, sentence completion tends to be more leading than word association.
