We also offer AI transcriptions of online research sessions free of charge when FieldworkHub provides the online platform, but in our experience these work much better for one-on-one interviews than focus groups (where more than one person may speak at the same time) and better in languages such as English where there is a lot of source material available to train AI models, than for less common languages.
Most purpose-built research venues are equipped with fixed video cameras for streaming and recording sessions, but a professional videographer will be able to record the session from alternative angles and zoom in to capture the behaviour of participants and their responses more clearly. We are happy to provide experienced market research videographers on request and can arrange editing of recordings, such as producing a short video showing the highlights from each session.

Our client was assisting the manufacturer of a kit used by hospital nuclear medicine departments to assist in the location of infection or inflammation in the limbs and backs of patients. We recruited 5 specialists and provided moderation for the interviews and prepared English transcripts.

Our client wanted to hold focus group discussions with members of the public and opinion elites in Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Italy and Poland on their perceptions of the way that technology companies use artificial intelligence. This involved recruiting 240 respondents over a period of 5 weeks.
