Screener design and review

Designing screeners that help you target respondents precisely
FieldworkHub’s experienced team can design or review your screener and advise on potential issues or improvements before recruitment begins, ensuring the content is optimised for your market research objectives. Careful screener preparation reduces risk, strengthens sample quality, and increases the likelihood of engaging the right participants from the start.
The key to recruiting suitable respondents is having a well-crafted screener that accurately identifies your target audience. If you need support creating one, our experts can develop a tailored screener from scratch and validate it with you. If you already have a draft, we will thoroughly review it, ensuring we fully understand your goals while identifying any gaps, ambiguities, or risks that could impact participant relevance or data quality.

Case studies of projects where we developed screeners

B2B research: French product fragrance specifiers
FieldworkHub was asked to recruit a small number of profiles for B2B market research in France. We were asked to recruit people who worked for companies that purchase fragrance ingredients in bulk and were involved in briefing fragrance houses or manufacturers on how they want their products to smell.

Ethnographic research: personal mobility, UAE
A Middle Eastern corporation wanted to carry out ethnographic research in the UAE on topics relating to personal mobility. Our work involved finding respondents with very particular B2C and B2B profiles. We recruited around 100 respondents which included Emiratis, Expats and high earners.

IDIs: pain points with motor insurance claims
FieldworkHub was asked to recruit UK-based respondents for a three-part development study discussing difficulties that people encountered when claiming from their motor insurance provider following an accident. We recruited 13 respondents who had made a recent claim and were able to speak about their experiences.
