Client testimonials
What our clients say about us
FieldworkHub did a great job with this recruitment. We always do research with very specific groups of medical specialists, so it’s not easy to find suitable respondents. FieldworkHub provided high quality services, which made it possible for us to gather important insights from four completely different markets.

We reached out to FieldworkHub after another firm told us they were not able to keep their commitment. Not only did Caroline respond to my email almost immediately, she picked up the phone and talked to me about my needs. Her team was super responsive and flexible, getting our work completed on time and budget. I highly recommend working with them and will absolutely be reaching out the next time I am conducting work in Europe.

We used FieldworkHub recently and now they’re our recruiter of choice. The briefing process is very simple and they’re very easy to deal with. Best of all is the ease and transparency of being able to check the recruits and their profiles so you have a good insight into each person.

You and your team did an EXCELLENT job! This was not an easy recruit and you met all the quotas, found participants who were fully qualified (and verified), and everything went super smoothly on the interview days. I appreciated how organized and methodical you were throughout this process, and how responsive and detailed your communications were.

Examples of recent market research participant recruitment by FieldworkHub

IDIs and online diary: endoscopy device management
A management consulting company asked FieldworkHub to help their client understand how specialist healthcare professionals (HCPs) manage their endoscopy devices, through an 11-week study in the UK, Germany and Spain with multiple interviews and online activities for each respondent.

User experience: VR headsets, UK, France, Germany
We were asked to recruit ten respondents in the UK and 30 in each of France and Germany to provide feedback on VR headsets made by a leading brand. The manufacturer wanted their views on both the products themselves and the way in which they were promoted through point-of-sale displays.

User testing: online business travel visa platform, UK
A digital innovation agency developed a new platform to simplify the process of applying for business travel visas and wanted to test out user experience. FieldworkHub recruited UK passport holders applying for a business visa in the next two weeks and arranged for them to submit their application through the platform.

1
What is user experience research?
User experience research explores how users interact with a product or service and is often considered to comprise four elements: usability (how easy is it to use the product?), value (how useful do they find the product?). adoptability (how likely are people to start using the product?) and desirability (how appealing do they find the product?). User experience testing is important for any type of product but demand has really accelerate due to the rise of digital business channels, such as websites and apps. FieldworkHub has successfully completed more than 200 user experience projects in more than 20 different countries, and this continues to be one of the most requested types of research.
2
What is the difference between user experience research and user testing?
User testing can be considered as a particular branch of user experience research, focusing primarily on the usability aspects of a product or service, i.e. how easy do novice users and experienced users find it to use the product or service to accomplish a specific goal. For example, in recent projects, FieldworkHub has recruited people to use a smartphone travel and maps app to navigate to a particular destination in London and we’ve also recruited users of international payments platforms for a comparative study of how to perform particular actions (e.g. setting up a new payee and paying them in foreign currency) across different platforms. User experience testing can have a broader range of objectives, for example, getting feedback on the look and feel of a new app or website before it is built, or testing offline aspects of user experience such as the response to brand advertising or their experience of delivery services for e-commerce sites.
3
How do I conduct usability testing?
Usability testing is normally conducted through individual user sessions (i.e. one user at a time) but these sessions may be moderated (i.e. a moderator is present to guide the user and ask questions) or unmoderated (i.e. the user works through a list of tasks while being recorded). General-purpose conferencing platforms such as Zoom, Teams and Google Meet are often used to record remote user testing sessions, but other specialised apps are available, such as Lookback, UserZoom and Indeemo. Specialist user testing centres for face-to-face research often provide more sophisticated options for measurement, such as multiple cameras, eye tracking and galvanic response recording. FieldworkHub is happy to advise you on the most appropriate methodology for your specific usability testing requirements.
