We wanted to say a huge thanks for your help with our study! It was very smooth and easy to work with you and the respondents you recruited gave really amazing reflective responses that helped shape our insights and learnings on the project.
F2F focus groups: meat consumption, UK

The client brief
We were asked by a Veterinary University in the UK to recruit 36 respondents with differing diets (vegans, vegetarians, flexitarians and meat eaters) to understand their attitudes to meat consumption and the influences of public policy on their diets. The focus groups were conducted in person on the client’s premises. The groups discussed recent changes to public policy around poultry and farming conditions. The client wanted to understand if people were aware of these changes, if they had contributed to their current dietary preferences, and if they might have an influence on their future dietary choices.
FieldworkHub delivers
FieldworkHub successfully recruited 36 respondents for the six in-person focus groups. As these focus groups were taking place at the client’s premises, we needed to help ensure that everyone arrived at the premises on time and ensure that they completed security checks to enter the site. Each focus group comprised a mix of people with different diets and proved very insightful for the client to understand how the policy changes have influenced public opinion.
FieldworkHub has been a great research partner to me and my team. Caroline and Cornelius were incredibly proactive, helping us anticipate any issues that might come up and plan for how to handle them. Even though it did turn out to be a challenging project, things went smoothly because we were one step ahead. The team went above and beyond to help ensure our goals were met.
