FieldworkHub was asked by a research agency to recruit 24 respondents living in specific parts of North Yorkshire and the Teesside area of the UK for focus groups to understand the impact that a local mining has made on people living the surrounding areas and whether their perceptions were mostly positive or mostly negative.
This was a challenging recruit because the total population of the areas being targeted was quite small. Nevertheless, we successfully recruited all 24 respondents needed for the online focus groups. All the respondents we recruited were highly engaged in the topic under discussion and provided rich insights for the client. The client used the findings to help decide how they can continue to contribute positively to the local community and provide more opportunities for residents.
The team did a great job, FieldworkHub were organised and provided excellent support and communication throughout.
