FieldworkHub worked with a research agency in the UK to recruit respondents in Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden, the Netherlands, Poland and Latvia for online focus groups. The client was supporting the European Commission on a project about the dissemination of information about EU-funded science projects. They wanted respondents who were interested in science, and had different levels of trust towards the European Commission other European institutions.
Our experienced project delivery team also consulted on the screener survey that was used to assess participants’ suitability for the research, which helped ensure that the right profiles were invited to take part. FieldworkHub recruited seven respondents in each country to take part in a focus group held on Microsoft Teams, satisfying all of the demographic criteria. All but three of the respondents that we recruited took part, allowing the client to gather lots of valuable insights from the groups.
