We recently embarked on a new longitudinal research project and were looking for a reliable, long-term recruitment partner. FieldworkHub were recommended to us, and they were outstanding. The team didn’t let anything drop and kept us fully informed during the entire project, which instilled a huge amount of confidence in the team at AMV. I have no hesitation recommending them.
UX: advice portal testing with HCPs, 3 markets

The client brief
Our client came to us looking to test the capabilities of a new advice portal currently in development for the healthcare industry. The technology was aimed at supporting various types of healthcare professionals in their day-to-day work, and obtaining meaningful feedback directly from users was crucial to next stage of the development process. FieldworkHub has extensive knowledge of user testing with hard to reach audiences, and have conducted usability tests with healthcare professionals in the past, so we were pleased to assist.
To get a broad range of perspectives, we were asked to recruit cardiologists, oncologists, neurologists and dermatologists across three different markets, each on different continents; Canada, Germany, and Japan. Each 60-minute usability testing session was to be held online via Zoom. Participants would test out the area of the advice portal dedicated to their profession and then take part in an in-depth interview. With so many moving parts, this project was certainly a challenging one.
FieldworkHub delivers
FieldworkHub supported our client’s research goal in a number of ways. We made sure to recruit a specialist ‘UX’ moderator in each country who understood the nuances of in-depth usability testing sessions, to ensure our client received the highest quality results. Our team also provided translation of all discussion materials, adapted to each market’s healthcare norms. Each type of healthcare professional also had their own unique screening criteria, which the FieldworkHub team carefully managed. Each participant was validated using publicly available information on their profession, and contacted to confirm that they were keen to contribute to the research.
We recruited an appropriate mix of healthcare professionals in our client’s three chosen markets, and scheduled each usability testing session around our participants’ availability. Our ability to work across different time zones was key to the success of the project. We managed all the logistics for this project and met the firm reporting timelines set by our client. Finally, our team provided summary reports for each individual interview. We were excited to deliver our client results containing detailed, impactful feedback to take on board to help finalise their product prior to launching it in these markets.
Thanks for all of FieldworkHub’s help and responsiveness on this project, making it a smooth process.
