A strategy consultancy working for an NGO asked the FieldworkHub team to help their client understand perceptions of climate and sustainability strategies across 16 global markets: Azerbaijan, Brazil, Japan, Indonesia, the UK, France, Germany, the USA, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Senegal, Kenya, Australia, India, China, and the Bahamas. The client asked us to recruit and facilitate 60-minute online interviews with Climate and Sustainability Experts, Policy Makers, and Thought Leaders to gather insights on their views regarding various countries’ climate policies and sustainability efforts.
FieldworkHub successfully recruited 42 respondents from environmental NGOs, charities, think tanks, academia, and former government staff for 60-minute online interviews conducted via Zoom. Each participant was required to have expertise in climate change, sustainability, or policy-making related to environmental issues.
To accommodate the diverse languages spoken across the nine non English speaking markets, FieldworkHub provided translation of research materials and arranged for experienced local moderators to conduct the interviews. Afer each interview was completed, we provided English transcripts of the discussion. To meet the recruitment challenges posed by smaller and more difficult markets like Azerbaijan, Senegal, and the Bahamas, we used a varity of approaches which allowed us to meet the client’s overall target of 42 interviews. We streamlined the recruitment process, ensuring that all interviews were completed by the target end date. This successful project not only provided valuable insights to our client but also demonstrated our expertise in managing complex recruitment challenges across diverse markets.
We wanted to say a huge thanks for your help with our study! It was very smooth and easy to work with you and the respondents you recruited gave really amazing reflective responses that helped shape our insights and learnings on the project.
