Our client reached out to FieldworkHub with the request of wanting to speak to five categories of healthcare practitioner in the USA: physicians, specialist gastroenterologists, pharmacists, nurses and hospitalists. The topic was Clostridium difficile (C. diff), a type of bacteria that can cause severe diarrhoea and colitis, an inflammation of the colon. The objectives of this research study include understanding more about the treatment journey, the barriers to launching new treatments in the US market, the key trigger points on communication about treatments, and hospitalisation, and the impact of care.
Respondents were asked to take part in 60-minute online IDIs via Zoom. FieldworkHub successfully recruited 36 healthcare practitioners for the interviews within a tight timeline and during an extremely busy period for healthcare staff, due to ongoing the Covid pandemic.
I contacted FieldworkHub with a last-minute research request. I thought it would be tricky to pull off, but Philip and the team made it so easy. It was a pleasure to work with people who were clearly experts at what they do. Not only did they turn the whole project around super quickly, but they were responsive, helpful and gave very thoughtful suggestions when I asked for advice. The process was smooth and easy from the start.
