A client who was supporting a popular social media platform reached out to FieldworkHub to carry out in-depth interviews with a sample of the platform’s users aged from 18 to 64 to discuss some features that were being developed to support discussions in the form of comments on posts.
The markets selected for this research were Germany, India, Indonesia, Egypt, and Brazil. Respondents needed to be active on the client's platform at least 3 times a week using a mobile device, and the sample and the sample needed to include both Android and iOS users from different locations in the target countries.
Over the course of two months, FieldworkHub conducted three rounds of research, recruiting more than 80 respondents in total for hour-long interviews. We also provided in-country moderators and simultaneous translators for each round of research and also arranged for the discussion guides and stimulus material to be translated.
