We helped an international charity to conduct online focus groups in five different countries (UK, US, Italy, South Africa and Norway). The client wanted to test the messaging of their latest materials and understand more about how the types of imagery they were using affects people’s willingness to donate and the way donors view the people that the charity supports. The client asked us to arrange three focus groups in each country: one group with the general public (representative of each country’s population as a whole), one group with people that actively supported an international charity, and one group with people who were first-, second- or third-generation immigrants to the country they currently lived in.
FieldworkHub consulted with the client to help them develop the screener, based on their requirements to ensure that our team recruited their target audiences. We also arranged moderators and interpreters, respondent recruitment, incentive handling, transcripts, translations and the hosting of the online focus groups on our Zoom platform.
Our team also ensured that all the moderators and simultaneous translators and arranged for them to be briefed thoroughly to ensure they collected rich insights for the client. The client was pleased with the high quality of service provided by our team and our communications with them throughout the project.
FieldworkHub are smart, extremely well organised, and a pleasure to deal with.
